Blog Post Submission Guidelines
Blog Post Guidelines
- Your post should be original and must have never been published before on the Internet. If you want an already published article to be republished to our blog, you’ll need to email us with a link to the original post and provide us with confirmation that the original author(s) of the blog post has signed off on their post being reposted to our site. Please note that we do not repost every article that is submitted to us.
- We request a minimum word count of 500. The most effective blog article would be between 500-1,000 words for decent depth, detail, and SEO opportunity. The more readers of the article the better chance we help someone.
- NO PROFANITY ACCEPTED
- Your post should be written in a friendly, conversational voice/tone that’s less formal and more approachable.
- Your post must not include marketing-related links and must not be entirely self-promotional.
Tips for A Better Blog Post
- Use short paragraphs, subheadings, and/or bullet lists to break up your article.
- Proofread your article before submitting it to us. Make sure to check your spelling and grammar.
- Read your article more than once to ensure it communicates what you would like it to communicate. There is no rush to post. Take your time. Perhaps even send it to us on a different day than you wrote it to give yourself time to digest it and ensure its what you want.
- Attribute any quoted/paraphrased info with links to the sources.
Author Bio Guidelines
- We recommend a short bio accompany your post. Just enough for the reader to know from which perspective you are writing your article.
- Recommended length is 50-75 words (2-3 sentences).
Submission Guidelines
- Email your blog post to BlogPost@proudparent.com with “ProudParent Blog Post Submission” in the subject line.

- If we publish your blog post, ProudParent has full rights to the content, including but not limited to edit, mix, duplicate, use, or re-use it in whole or in part as it so chooses.
